Enfield’s Council’s Climate Change policy aims to ensure that all new residential and non-residential developments proactively contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions. The Climate Action Plan outlines the Borough’s strategic and coordinated approach to addressing climate change, our project takes all of these factors into consideration.

Project Overview

After successfully acquiring a small plot of land, which previously accommodated three brick-built garages, permission was granted by the Enfield Council to construct a detached bungalow. The bungalow will be fitted with a heat pump, which will provide a highly efficient and environmentally friendly way of heating the property. The underfloor heating system will ensure that the home remains comfortable throughout the year, while the green roof will not only provide an aesthetically pleasing feature but also help to reduce the carbon footprint of the property. Additionally, the bungalow will feature solar panels, which will generate renewable energy, thus reducing the reliance on non-renewable sources of energy. Finally, the front garden amenity will provide a great outdoor space for the residents to enjoy and relax. All in all, the new bungalow will be a well-equipped and eco-friendly addition to the neighbourhood.
