Joe’s experience within the industry spans over 35 years, starting off as an apprentice carpenter, he later moved on to electrical maintenance and eventually became a qualified electrician. over the last two and a half decades, Joe continued to build up his expertise with fortified partnerships with various local developers within London.
Joe’s portfolio consists of 100s of properties ranging from single dwelling refurbs to flat renovations, elaborate extensions to intimately proportioned nooks, and office block conversions to new builds from the ground up. He is regularly called upon as a consultant for other local contractors and even builder’s merchants for advice on tackling difficult structural or logistical issues.
CG has over 10 years of operational management experience within the pharmacy & healthcare sector, responsible for regulatory and compliance training, logistics, project and change management. In 2017 following a brief career break, CG was encouraged to enter the construction industry under the wings of Joe, his uncle. 5 years later, CG rose through the ranks from site labourer to project manager, founded and co-owns three entities including So & Co Building Services, is a qualified electrician and a certified site manager.
CG’s experience solidifies his approach with high-level decision making and enables him to manage multiple projects concurrently. He is a visionary, a people’s person and a stickler for clinical finesse within the office and site.
As a Chartered MRICs Surveyor, Janet’s 15+ years of experience as a QS has seen her engagement with commercial and residential projects both within the UK and abroad. Notably, Janet’s prolific projects include a £300m, 29-storey commercial office block in Abu Dhabi, a $9.5 Billion luxury Egyptian resort spanning over 11,000,000m2, and a 4-star hotel closer to home the, 801-room, Tower Hotel situated next to Tower Bridge, London.
Janet’s top-flight background has fortified her attention to detail, given her an in-depth knowledge of the industry and an equipped her with an expertise in cost-management only acquirable through vocational experience and hands-on project involvement. Over the last few years with Arkin, Janet has taken on the role of Contract Administrator for our larger projects.
Claudia brings over 3 years of invaluable experience in project management, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of high-quality projects. With a solid foundation and a degree in Interior Design from the prestigious Politecnico di Milano (Polimi), she combines her creative vision with a meticulous ability to coordinate and organise project workflows.
Her role as an interior designer within the company complements her project management duties, offering a unique blend of creativity and practical knowledge. Her strong understanding of construction processes allows her to oversee every stage of a project with meticulous attention to detail, making it one of her standout strengths. Claudia’s ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on the smallest details ensures that each project meets the highest standards of excellence.
Grace has a multidisciplinary background ranging from real estate to supply chain management, enabling her to ensure project resource availability and allocation as well as the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders in order to deliver projects on time and on budget.
She has over ten years of experience in real estate, during which she had supervised, evaluated 100+ real estate investment opportunities (including hotels, offices, retail spaces), regarding their commerciality and viability. In addition, she is a proven negotiator; Grace was involved in a 300-room 5-star hotel construction project from contract negotiation, construction to interior design.
